Students: 25% off
Students get 25% off KanaMember for a year: €4.49 a month or €33.74 a year, for every program from kana to JLPT N1.
Who counts as a student?
Anyone enrolled at a school, college or university this academic year, full-time or part-time, anywhere in the world, aged 16 or over (the age KanaMastery accounts need).
How do I prove it?
With your school email: we send it a link, and opening it confirms you. Addresses on academic domains (.edu, .ac.uk, .ac.jp and the like) work this way. Otherwise, upload a photo or PDF of your student card or enrolment letter showing your name, your school and a date in this academic year; a person checks it, usually within two working days.
What happens to my proof?
Only we can open it, through a link that works for a few minutes. We delete it as soon as we have decided. We keep your school’s name and country, or your school email’s domain, and the dates, so we know your discount is valid.
How long does it last?
A year from approval. A month before it ends, you get a notice: prove you are still a student to keep it another year, added on to the current one. If you don't, your plan goes back to its usual price from its next payment.
Which plans does it cover?
Monthly (€5.99 becomes €4.49) and annual (€44.99 becomes €33.74), new or already running. Not lifetime. It doesn't combine with a sale: you get whichever is the better deal.
Can I still use the free trial?
Yes. Everyone gets the 14-day trial; a plan bought during it starts when the trial ends, at the student price.
