Japanese is better with a friend
Send your link. Your friend gets 21 days of everything, free. When they've practised on 3 days, you get a reward, and you're friends: see each other's streaks and levels, and duel.
You get, per friend
Free, trial or lifetime: a streak freeze, and a step towards your Recruiter badge.
Monthly or annual member: your next charge pushed back 14 days.
If they become a member: one more. Up to 10 a year.

The rules
- A friend counts when they join through your link or code with a new account, verify their email, and practise on 3 different days (20 answers or more each day) within 14 days of joining.
- Rewards follow your plan on the day they're given: free, trial and lifetime accounts get streak freezes (you can hold 3; a freeze you can't hold is not kept), never membership; monthly and annual members get their next charge pushed back.
- The extra for a friend who becomes a member comes 30 days after their first payment, if it isn't refunded or disputed.
- Up to 10 rewards a year. A link counts its first 50 new accounts a month. To earn rewards, your account must have a verified email and be at least 7 days old.
- We check every reward. Accounts made to collect rewards (your own, or many from one place) earn nothing, and some invites wait for a person to look. A reward can be taken back, if still unused, when a friend's payment is refunded or disputed or their account is closed for breaking the Terms.
- Badges: Recruiter at 1 friend, Recruiter II at 5, Recruiter III at 25.
- Rewards have no cash value and can't be transferred. We may change or end the program; rewards already given stay. The full terms are in the Terms.
Questions
What does my friend get?
21 days of everything instead of the usual 14, with no card, and you're friends from the start.
What do I get?
Once your friend has practised on 3 days: a streak freeze if you're on the free plan, in your trial or a lifetime member (you can hold 3); your next charge pushed back 14 days if you're a monthly or annual member. If your friend becomes a member, you get one more: another freeze, or a further month.
Why not free membership for free accounts?
Invite rewards for free accounts are streak freezes and badges. Membership days go to members, by moving their next payment. It keeps the program fair and hard to abuse.
When does the reward arrive?
The morning after your friend's third day of practice, with a notice. The extra for a membership comes 30 days after their first payment.
Is there a limit?
10 rewards a year. Invite as many friends as you like: everyone still gets the longer trial and becomes your friend.
